1) ADA Roll In Showers (minimum 60" x 30" inside dimensions)
|

ADA Roll in Showers are designed to be accessible in a wheelchair. ADA guidelines specify a minimum inside shower dimension of 60" x 30" (1525 mm x 760 mm).
It is much easier for caregivers to assist in transfers in a roomy ADA roll in shower stall.
ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (ADAAG) Section 4.21 for Shower Stalls can be found at:

Section 4.21 also includes size and installation specifications for grab bars, shower seats as well as handheld shower head and pressure mixing valve.
Many 1-piece and multi-piece roll in wheelchair shower models and accessories are available for handicapped or disabled access. Not all shower sizes and styles are shown, call us for more options.

2) ADA Transfer Showers (minimum 36" x 36" inside dimensions)
|
ADA Transfer Wheelchair Showers offer an easy transfer from a wheelchair to a fold down shower seat. Transfer Showers are so named because the wheelchair is parked outside the shower and the user "transfers" into the shower. ADAAG guidelines specify a minimum inside dimension of 36" x 36" (915 mm x 915 mm) for a transfer shower.
To comply with ADA and many building codes ADA Transfer Showers must also be accessorized to meet ADAAG Guidelines. This includes proper installation of a folding shower seat, inside corner grab bar, handheld showerhead and pressure mixing valve.
For quick delivery we offer several Express Ship models fully accessorized to meet ADAAG Guidelines. We offer many ADA accessories to provide for all your accessible building product needs at the job site.
ADA Shower Stalls are available in both gelcoat fiberglass and acrylic construction.
